Figured today would be a good one, but didn't think this good. Me and the boy got into our stand a little late (6:30) but just before 7 stuff started moving. First a little spike came wandering through. Then a group of 4 does. Then a singe doe.... Spike again. Another doe, the a coyote. While looking at the yote we looked over and a 4 or 6 was walking through the plot. Then another yote followed by a doe. Finally...the coyote came back and I dropped him. He stood still a few seconds too long. All before 9. Pics later, for now we are waiting on a good buck.

Nice one on the yote! I had a bunch of turkeys and a single buck walk on to the edge of the plot and look at me, turned and walked off. We had a couple second stare off and he walked off. That was before 8. Quiet since then. Good luck.

Talked to my dad yesterday, He said the rut seems like its kicking in.. A doe come out lifting her tale everywhere, Then about 6 mins later a Buck came walking out from her same direction.. About 10mins later a bigger buck came walking through, then he heard to two fighting But could'nt get a shot.. Well he Aim'ed but hit the side of the tree, nice 2x6

Nice yote! I didn't see anything else. Back at camp now for lunch. Then back out shortly for the evening hunt.

We drove to Holt for some of those famous "Browns Grocery" chicken fingers. Back at it for round 2 in an hour. After we move a stand.

I was raking leaves in the yard today , and right before dark one or two yotes started howling then the whole pack joined in with short yelps and whines.They kept at it for two or three minutes. Glad you busted one ! :thumbup:
