I love the feel of them. Your rod comes alive. Small Snook like them too. Redfish and Bass eat them too.

I'd be interested to see if any of the numerous knock-offs work better or vibrate at a lower speed. Slow is good for Snook and even better for Tarpon. Unfortunately they have very light duty hooks.,.

They work on redfish here as well, especially around grass

The one I’ve noticed with the knockoffs is most use a snap as the line tie. I’ve had problems with the snaps bending open over time. The original Zman uses a heavy wire loop as the tie.

I have tried them for bass up here in GA, but thought that they must work for Reds and Snook. Do you normally work them like a jig or use a steady slow retrieve?
