Is there any shop that could appraise a gun I bought prefferably in the Navarre area? Gun could have been made between 1880s and early 1900s. made by Murata in Japan

I鈥檝e always said unless the guy is pulling out his wallet, an appraisal isn鈥檛 worth the paper it鈥檚 written on. I think the best measure of what鈥檚 its worth would be completed auctions on Gun Broker.
But Gulf Breeze Firearms deals in a lot of unusual guns. They could probably help.
I would call them before going there. They keep unusual hours.

Does it have the bolt face? Does it appear to be operational? The Japanese military rendered them all inoperable by removing the bolt face except for a few that got out into civilian hands. If it is a complete rifle it would be worth substantially more I would put a $1300 value on it otherwise. But don鈥檛 take my word for it I don鈥檛 know what I鈥檓 talking about... 11mm Japanese single shot.... heck out the info on nambuworld.com
