I've seen those for sale, seems like it's working well for you, do you have to do anything to it to keep it producing?

I sauteed a bunch of Chanterelles this year until I found a better way of doing it. Read one blog about putting the mushrooms in the pan after cleaning and let them sweat out most of their moisture, then add the butter. What a difference it made. The drier mushrooms absorbed the butter and tasted so much better!

I recently read to steam the mushrooms, drain and "squeeze" out excess water and air dry. What a difference and I couldn't believe the amount of water it rendered. Really enhanced the taste of the mushrooms.

my wife bought at a farmers market in Pcola for 25$ ( i'll ask her tonight) weekend of Thanksgiving. They are Italian oyster mushrooms . They are growing in my shop on a shelf and you mist them daily . Tonight I'll sauteed some with some deer backstrap i have been dry aging for 6 days .

I‘m getting one, we eat a lot of mushrooms and it would be great to have some ready to go.

My dad was into growing mushrooms before he passed away. He did the indoor thing and also did it outdoors. Take a look at the mushroom plugs that you put in logs or fallen trees. They take quite a bit longer but are a nice surprise when they finally fruit.

$25 is really affordable compared to the price we are getting through different sellers

I bought a load of mushroom mulch out in E. Milton a few years ago for my vegetables and strawberry plants. It started popping mushrooms about a week later. I don't know what kind they were, but I rinsed them off and ate 'em raw.
Didn't get sick, so they must have been the good kind.
