OK so last time out we found a little bump a few miles past the Edge. It was loaded with AJs then and today again. I'm sure there's some grouper there, great marks but the AJs are so thick you can't get past them.

Limited on AJs then went to the Edge which was DEAD as it could be. No body catching much. Anchored up to eat lunch and put out the chum bag and a free line. Nice king right off the bat, then the sharks showed up.

Bumped bottom for a bit then headed SW towards home and found a patch of weed. Loaded with mahi. Caught the bull and a few chickens then the sharks found us.

On in to a grouper spot that was loaded with..... AJs. It was really cool to see 10 AJs follow up their hooked buddy.

After that headed in on amazingly slick seas and Jimmy Buffet tunes.

Now that sounds like a fun day. Ya gotta love them spots you find that everybody else in the state does'nt know about. Alway's helps to have a good back up spot or two. Glad ya had a good day. Thanks for posting.

OK forgot the extras. Two giant sea turtles, porpoise too, an 8 ft bull shark, a 12 ft hammerhead (did not swim with him). The hammer kept circling the boat with it's dorsal out of the water, really cool unless you are in the water of course. And we ran in at 30.

Nice day! It was a little bumpy for us in the morning but smoothed down to nothing in the afternoon. It was beautiful out there.

Ours was just the opposite searching for Groupers...you guessed it Red Snaps....they were everywhere. Did manage two nice AJs though.
