yup, super easy and already on all Windows pc's. I've tried about all editing software and I found that WLMM is by far the best.

Windows is easier. Be prepared to bang your head against a brick wall. No matter what you use, quality is a toss up. I have some incredible footage that looks like crap after being washed through editing software.

I took a break from video making because... well, they just don't make valiums big enough

Go to youtube.com and watch How to Videos for your software you want to use. I use sony vegas pro but it makes me bang my head off the wall some times. Hope this helps.

When I tried to put my GOPRO videos in Windows Movie Maker; I get an error message. Do I have to format the videos before I drag them in , if so how do I go about doing that?

I never had tp format videos. Make sure you ate using windows LIVE movie maker

When you choose the video from your library while in live movie maker, it will format it for you.

I am for now on mac ox and only thing is that i can't use anymore this videocap software http://www.videocapx.com it really cool for my needs, and its really professional pice of software. But its not free, may bie you can find somewhere a cracked or something...its my suggestion.
