Had some friends bait fishing on the Massachusetts recently.
She said a guy with three 250 hp. outboards came through the group of boats, ON PLANE, and hit the Massachusetts.. She said everyone tried to wave him off but he hit it. Needless to say he was dead in the water afterward. People were cussing him for his stupidity.
Gonna be a big bill to fix that one for sure.
I think she said this was Father’s Day.

Is there a way we could get a rubber buoy ball with chain and a large weight and drop it down the stack to mark it. I was getting bait the other day and some guy with a new boat backed into it, the crunching sound made me sick.

I am probably just spitting into the wind on this one but I just sent an e-mail to the FWC requesting a marker on the stack of the Mass. I know, I am not going to hold my breath or anything but I thought I would at least try. I really don't understand why a floating PVC pipe marker couldn't be dropped into the stack. Or a flag clamped onto it. Something to mark the actual stack.

There are two stacks, boilers or whatever the part of the ship is that is awash at most low tides.

If you use something to market with, it will just float away. Eventually. Look at the marker that’s out there now and how far it has moved.

The markers have never moved.

The Mass has.
