I can’t do much but sit and think lately. So here goes, whatcha think
Below is a pic of a deer at my yard feeder during the 2016/17 season. He survived the season but never came back. The other pic is of the 3rd largest deer ever killed in Alabama. Guy shot it this January about 23 miles and across the river from my feeder.
So what are the chances they are the same deer, only two years older?

Nah, look at the brow tines. They both curve in on the top buck, the right one curves out on yours. Nice buck though, If he showed up in my backyard, he's be "dead and a half" years old.

probably not,but very similar lineage.....those alpha bucks up your way will travel alot,especially after the season....When I lived in Peterman,Al. just south east of you there were 3 monster bucks seen crossing the highway....never seen before and never seen again....Ghosts...Thats why they were so huge....There are bucks at Eglin that run together like that to.........
