Headed up to the lease to disk up about 4 spots that the turkey already love. Just want to keep 'em hanging out in these areas. Want to do it tomorrow so it is all gone before the season starts.

My question is, what seed do you guys sling out for them to scratch around and feed on? Also, do you lightlycover the seed that you sling out with a disk, or just leave it on top of the dirt?

I usually use either wild bird seed, sunflower seeds,or wheat feed. I know they like corn too, but the deer end up eating it all up. What seeddo you guys use?

Thanks!

I use wheat but a little trick I found is if you are going to put out corn disc the area up and lightly cover your corn they will scratch it up out of the ground keeps the deer from eating it up and takes the turkey longer to eat it!
