I have been going out to sikes and have been skunked so looking to try new bait. I found a web site to make a ghost shrimp "pump" (http://hbng84.hubpages.com/hub/Making-a-Simple-Ghost-Shrimp-Bait-Pump) and was thinking of heading out to Pensacola Beach or Perdido Key to see what I could find in the morning. The only regulations I found pertain to regular gulf shrimp.....I know Texas regulates or regulated Ghost Shrimp does Florida do the same? Had a run in with an Arkansas GW and trying to avoid that again. Anyone every tried this or have a better way to get some bait

There are tons in alabama way more than we have here in pcola. Go on the beach and pump the gulf on lowtide or a sandbar. Not sure if there is a limit or not each time i pump i usually pump as many as possible since they are a pain to get

I know it is illegal on Padre Island National Seashore to use a pump to get ghost shrimp.

You can bring in ghost shrimp but you can't pump them on the seashore.

So if I was going to a state park or national park or seashore or National Wildlife Refuge, I would ask a game warden just to make sure.
