What’s the deal with this? if I hunt in alabama am I required to have this to bring the meat back to florida?

Just have it processed in AL and no issues. Or as suggested, just debone and dispose of the carcass. I hunt two hour away and no processor near me, so I just have it processed in AL.

This goes with any deer killed out of FL....and talking to taxidermists/processors, they get checked!

It's becoming a big issue. Particularly if you drive out west to hunt and have to cross multiple states coming home. But, better than spreading CWD.

Problem is, there are conflicting studies on IF/How CWD is even spread. easier to have a local processor just process the meat and send it to you... not cheap, but a lot less headache!
