Getting ready to put gas struts on my fish boxes and both live wells. Any suggestions or things to look for when purchasing? How would one determine the length of the strut needed?

pay the $$ and get SS ones. I got some from http://mikeryans.com/ some $$ but worth it in the long run.... I used the same holes and remounted them in the same position. Go look at someone's or I'm sure there is a youtube out there somewhere...

i just did my bow hatches and i used the 9-15" shocks. i just found a boat like mine with shocks and copied it's measurements.
