I have noticed my past two trips that my fuel tank gauge is only reading between 1/4 and 1/2 of a tank when it is full. Does anyone know what is causing this or how to fix it?

Boat is a 05 Cobia w/ Yamaha 150 4 stroke

Sending unit problem is my guess.

You need to get access to your gas tank - top of the tank you will find your sending unit attached - remove the sending unit - you will then need to order a replacement

Thanks PFF! Replaced the sending unit and it is working perfect! and it was very easy to do! longest part was driving to west marine and back to get the replacement! Thanks Again
