Ive had luck on the front side of a cold front(warm kinda wet) and they seem to move a lot beforethe storm. But also on the backside of a front they move a good bit cause it gets colder(but also very windy). Just puttin this out there to see what everyones preference or opinion is on would you rather hunt right before a nasty front or after one??

The most deer I've ever seen from a stand was at citruc WMA. and it was during the passing of a front, it was nasty and rainy and windy. I didn't get a shot but I saw 35 deer, however they wern't in the mood to just stand around, they were moving pretty briskly.

Hunt them both if you can...then you won't go wrong.

I've had success before and after a front. Before a front, the calm before the storm so to speak, deer tend to get a active. Feeding before they have to gobed down for a while. During the storm, usually bedded down with a full belly just riding out the storm. After the front has past, deer will get up and start feeding again. However, the windy part following a front I have never had much luck. Wait out the front, let the wind die down, then get out there.

I'll say again, just hunt them both...both are good feeding times for deer.

Can't kill em on the couch.....heatwave - snow flurries - downpours, it don't matter....I've hunted more this year then I ever have and have seen tons of deer....I've been PO'd cause I aint seeing horns but I figure since alot of post on here advise some aren't seeing any deer,I guess I should consider myself lucky....I have a dear family friend (2nd dad) that slaughters multiple rack (not basket racks)deer every year and he told me when I was younger and I asked him his secret...He just told me persistance and time. He will hunt at least 4-5 days a week and now that I'm working a shift that allows me to hunt the evening hunt every day ifI want to:letsdrink:letsdrink I am trying to stay away from spots until after doe days cause I plan on 2 a day!!!:letsdrink:letsdrink:letsdrink
