i was out there from 3 pm to about 6 pm in hopes of catching my first sheepshead of the winter. i didn't catch any but i did see two nice ones. however i caught a bunch of blues, a flounder, couple mangrove snapper and a couple of groupers. i've never caught groupers before so it was very exciting. unfortunately they were only about 10inches. they were all caught on live shrimp. if your looking to catch any blues they are very thick right now.

nice grouper. There are some monsters in the rocks on the jetties both sides.

they're real hard to get out of the rocks with a rod and reel, however I have scuba dived there and seen 30 to 40 lbers so I know that they are there.

Make sure you go a little before tide change, and dive thru the slack tide. If you get caught in the tide you will be swept out or in whichever way the tide is going. It rips thru there. The best tide is high incoming just at or before slack tide. Absolutely gorgeous
