These will probably fit a nitch. Hope the farmer does well with the project, but I'll stick to bay shrimp which are about half the price.

I may go pick some up and try and support the farmer. I think it's a good thing he's doing, just a little too expensive for me.

6-8 count shrimp? Those are monsters.... Some of the U-12's are an inch beween the eyes, and these are bigger...... I don't think thats to much at all... Wish I lived closer, would pick up a bunch.....

6-8 head on. They are probably U-12 after they are cleaned

They look like Asian freshwater prawn. If they are what I thought they are, then they are delicious grilled.

I have had them and they are good. I used to buy them all the time until the shrimp were no longer available.

Seems to me they may taste watery, to me, anyways. I love eating shrimp, but they need to be seasoned. Even shrimp from the Gulf taste a little watery to me. If it wasnt for the salt water, shrimp would be completely tasteless. As big as those freshies are, though, I could almost taste the mega shrimp boil. $8 per lbs then may not be so bad. O*D*W
