I'm heading down for fishing Wednesday (tomorrow), and usually fish along Ft Pickens Road. But sounds like it's closed still.

Where can I fish Navarre Beach? I have a pull cart, so the walkways with steps are a pain. Which pullouts are best?

Head West from Navarre Beach and hit the National Seashore (it's finally open again down there)- or go east from Pensacola beach. 36A is a good parking area on the Navarre side and you won't have to drag your cart too far.

Pickens will reopen next week from the last update I saw. That was when the announced that the seashore was reopened.
I'm just going to ask when I get to GB Bait & Tackle. They should know.
Thanks, guys.

I fished 36A noon to 4PM on Wednesday (Nov 29). Surf was up; 3-oz weights. Caught 6 whiting; 3 edible size. Nothing else. All were on shrimp with fishbites.

Met a bunch of people walking the beach. An Asian woman came by 3 times: "You catch tuna?". A woman from Chicago stopped by twice: "Sand is beautiful". Pleasant day and good location.

Thanks guys for the help. :notworthy:

Looks like you had some fun :)

P.S. Never heard of a whiting being not-edible size, they all taste delicious :)
