Was talking to anotherboater this weekend who has a Yamaha F115 with a flor-torq hub and he was telling me his prophub is to be torque to 60 ft lbs.

According to theYamahaservicemanualit showing 22-25 ft lbs. but now I am not sure that is correct with a mercury prop with flo-torq hub.

Could notfind any instruction info or sheet on the web for the flo-torq hub.

I torque all props to about 40 ftlbs.

The first time a Flo Torg hub is installed, it needs to be tightened beyond spec in order the press the hub in. If this isn't done you stand a good chance of spinning the hub.
