Watch for bass boats, this time of yr. there are a lot of tournaments on black water/yellow river and the boat traffic can be hazardous to yaks!

Good spot to fish, this time of yr. the basin there is very shallow.

I'd recommend you launch at MAE LANE, off ward basin road.
Fish the basin and surrounding points, etc.
VERY common and often used kayak launch site for S. Blackwater n yellow river..
