Today must have been the day to kayak in the gulf out of of Navarre. :thumbup:I fished off the Navarre pier and watched a group of 3 paddle out in the morning, then later on saw 2 pro anglers, then a few singles, 2 tandems ...by the afternoon I counted 11 kayakers fishing throughout the day. I need to get my Hobie pro angler out of storage and put it to good use or sell it!! I think good use. :yes:

That said ... don't come to NB. The fishing is terrible here! :whistling: Go to Pensacola or somewhere else.

Well I sure didn't catch/see much (1 spanish, 1 bonita ) But it was great to get out on the water and to meet some of y'all. At one point there must have been at least 2 dozen kayaks on the water.

I passed up everybody catching bait at 6:15 & headed straight out with my bucket of pin-fish ... hooked up a spanish, a small shark, & a 38" king within an hour. Decided to headed in not having a fish bag & having never filleted a king before I wanted to try it. I was still floating a pinfish behind & hooked up a lady fish off the beach. I was in by 9. Be back tomorrow.

Got 41" & 36" kings, too many sharks and lost a large bull Mahi right under my yak:thumbdown: That hurt...
