A rabbit took a wrong turn into my pool last night. Needless to say rabbits don't swim very well. Upon discovering said rabbit, I debated how to get him out ( I have a pool guy so I have no skimmer net.) So out came the cobe rod ( hook faced the wrong way.) Then mullet net ( lead line slid over.) Same with bait net. Finally the 6' hawaiian sling with paralyzer tip. Now that's how ya get a rabbit out of a pool!



P.S. Yes the rabbit was dead from the start.

Have that problem all the time, except with ground rats (Chipmunks), You should always have a pole and loop around the pool at all times. Children can be taught to use one if help is needed.
