Re: first sit of the season

Just got back from a hunt in Illinois with my son, got to see first hand how hard those farmers up there work, they certainly got my respect. Every one of them was as helpful and friendly as anyone could ever wish. We both got a nice buck which made up for a messed up hunt last year in Kentucky.

Well i used the wrong pin on my first one then the next i drilled. Good blood, trailed about 200 yards then into a wet weather pond and hundreds of tracks then nothing. I feel defeated and wonder why i bow hunt. I spent 3 1/2 hours looking before I finally gave up. Hopefully he will show up again.
