Well, I droped my first ever deer off to Ollie's Taxidermy the day after I shot him. I get a call this afternoon from Ollie that it is already ready. Man that was record time!!!!! I had asked him if he could put aslight rush on it since I am moving out of state intwo months. But I did not expect him to jump right on it like that.

Here is the thread for this deer:

http://pensacolafishingforum.com/fishingforum/Topic513644-42-1.aspx

I have never had another deer mounted before since this was my first, but it looks great to me. But I am a little biased I guess. Not a true wall hanger by most standards. But as a first deer, on my first sit in a tree stand, (second time ever hunting)it was just too good to not get mounted.

If you need a good taxidermist with a quick turn around that doesn't break the bank either, Ollie is your man.

From ground.

To Wall in 3 weeks.

Very nice! I have never seen that kind of turn around time. I was in the plot you shot it in today and found some new scrapes and rubs. One of the scrapes had 4antler lines in the dirt going in the same direction so I think there is a good buck still coming in. My game cam took a poo so I don't know how big it isyet.

James,

I really think that the trail at the back of that clearing/plot is a great trail that deer travel through on your property. Get that camera up and running and stick it at the back of the plot near that trail and I bet, you will see all kinds of deer walking though there.

Trust me. I am preparing myself for many sits without seeing a dang thing. I should have played the lottery that day as well.:doh:letsdrink
