About 8am had a long cowhorn come under me. He was the first buck I have seen this year. It got a pass. Walking out heard some pigs squeal and decided to stalk. Momma and 10 pigs came by. This little boy was last in line. He weighed about 60 pounds. Could have killed Momma, but didn't think the pigs would survive without her. Give them another month.

Somebody get the back-hoe ready to dig the pit! New Years Pit BBQ. I'll be there in a few hours.

I'll bring the beer!

The little pigs with Momma were about 10 pounds each, but they got around real good. They all were black and she was brown with black spots. This one was with them. Maybe from he last litter. She probably weighed 200+. Just stood there gathering all of her younguns when I shot. Could have pulled the trigger, but decided to let the pigs grow another month or so. I am sure I will see them again.
