Well after being loaded up with school, the grading period finally came to an end and my friend Josh and I managed to sneak out for a few hours this morning, red tide or not. We both agreed to keep our spot secret. If you figure it out from the the pictures, keep your mouth shut! ::nonono We were using live shrimp on the bottom and the results were fantastic.
We started the morning off with Josh landing a nice slot Redfish and messing with some smaller grouper:

We hit a time of no action but at about 9:00 the bite picked back up with a vengence. We nailed Redfish after Redfish, Black Drum after Black Drum, and Sheepshead after Sheepshead. This went on until about 1:45 when we left the water.

23" 8 lbs. Black Drum

27" 6.5 lbs. Redfish

26" 10 lbs. Black Drum

What a great day on the water. It's about time I got back out.

Totals:
22 Redfish
2 Black Drum
6 Sheepshead
5 Gag Grouper

GREAT JOB!!!!!!

Some good eats if the red tide doesn't hurt them. I'm guessing if they are not dead then they are good enough to eat. :)
