Several times I have used the boat landing on Escambia River near UWF and Hwy 90 bridge, and found my boat has a nasty yellow scum line along the boat's waterline. Never gotten this scum anywhere else in the Pcola area. So who is discharging the yellow scum into our river and bay?

That's easy - The scum line is from the floating toxic yellow radioactive foam that makes its way merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily down the stream..... Seriously - it glows at night

Try'n Hard provided the best answer... Not sure about pollen in September. Tannin, maybe, but the tannin in BW is more of a weak tea color. The only thing I could guess would be mud since Escambia is full of it ALL THE TIME!!!

Actually - if it's yellow foam you can smell it and know that it's sulfur. Not much pollen on the river right now - this is grass season, spring is tree pollen season. Anyway smell it but don't taste it
