I want to say that certain remotes are only compatible with certain control units depending partly on whether they have bluetooth, but I could be wrong on that. Guess you could just try pairing one and see what happens. :thumbsup:

I know the same remote can be learned by the same model.

I don't think remotes are transferable from model to model.

By the way I just replaced my 10 year old ipilot, with the self deploying one. It's kinda clunky as it deploys and retracts (bang, bang), but it works great after 3 months. The remote is not intuitive, but learnable enough.

PS. They make a 72", 24 volt model. My old 54" model worked fine inshore, but would cavitate a bit in 1 to 2 foot seas south of Key Largo.

I got one of them. If anybody needs one they’re only 75 bucks. He’s got two left. Nice remotes brand new made by minn kota
