Traveled to Miramar for a long weekend vacation. Fished morning of 5/19 and 5/20. Caught several hard tails, ladyfish, and one nice pompano. Went back this morning and fought the waves and sargassum weed but came away with one pompano at 12”, no other fish caught today. Caught on dead shrimp and fish bites on pompano rigs. Glad I finally found some pompano. Time to sit on the beach and enjoy a cold one.

What r u gonna do with the hard tails?

They became an appetizer. Fishy but not horrible deep fried. If I had caught any whiting instead the hard tails would have been kept for bait for a trip back to Pensacola this summer.
