The bite has been getting better with the warmer water temps. It has been slowly warming from the high 40s to the high 50s over the past few weeks and we even got on a spot today that was in the mid 60s. We have been using a variety of swim baits along with some gulp shrimp.

Brad King (3/10/2010)Great work as usual Blake!! Is the trout bite starting to pick up??
Slowly but surely. We are seeing a ton of good trout on the flats but only getting a few of them to chew for us. There are a few deeper inlets that are holding quite a few 13-16 inchers. We've been picking off a couple of the better grade on the flats, then going to the deeper pockets for more action. But with the water temps rising like they are, the flats will be getting more active.
