I AM THINKING OF COMING DOWN(200 MILES NORTH NOW) AND WAS WONDERING IF THE RECENT CHANGE IN CONDITIONS(WARMER WEATHER, ETC) HAS RAISED THE WATER TEMPERATURES IN BLACKWATER, ETC. HOW ABOUT DIRTY WATER? HAS IT CLEARED UP AT ALL? THANKS ALL.

Ajerv (1/23/2010)I AM THINKING OF COMING DOWN(200 MILES NORTH NOW) AND WAS WONDERING IF THE RECENT CHANGE IN CONDITIONS(WARMER WEATHER, ETC) HAS RAISED THE WATER TEMPERATURES IN BLACKWATER, ETC. HOW ABOUT DIRTY WATER? HAS IT CLEARED UP AT ALL? THANKS ALL.
The weather has only been warmer a few days and not by a great deal. Nighttime temps havent been freezing, but still dipping into 40s, and if you are thinking about coming, remember thatthis week is going tosee a mix of warm and cold temps according to the 10 day forecast.

Water doesn't change temp quickly. I was out Monday, water temp was 52 degrees. Clarity is better than it has been, but still not "clear" , and fishing wasnt as good as usual. I was in the bay, but imagine the river was probably as bad or worse.

And don't forget the rain we are supposed to haveSunday.

If I were driving 200 miles I personally would probably wait .
