There are always going to be believers and non-believers, doers and non-doers, those that will and those that don't. Good scientific evidence and bad scientific evidence. There will always be a minimum of two sides to a story, and in this case there are many. Chose which one you follow and I respect YOUR decision and beliefs that you think are good for you....I ask YOU for the same respect.

Yes, I agree we are all entitled to our own opinions and I respect you fella's right to have yours. I just don't want to see you die. Y'all do you, but stay safe. Let's revisit this thread in 3 months or so. I hope I'm coming back and apologizing to each and every one of you, and will do so. BTW, update on the wife's aunt. She was discharged yesterday after 17 days in the hospital! She made it!

Dr. Fauci's own organization listed hydroxychloroquine as a promising treatment for Sars Cov-1 ... which was about 85% similar to Sars-Cov-2 (aka, Covid-19). His organization funded the study of this virus at UNC and then continued to fund the Chinese doctor (Dr. Shi Zhengli) who left UNC and went back to Wuhan to continue her work in the virology lab there. She left because the NIH pulled the project's funding saying the 'research' (tampering) they were doing with the virus was too dangerous and had too high a risk to cause human spread and cause a pandemic. She sorta disappeared after that, and resurfaced only through China's government-owned social media outlet with very limited interaction. Big Pharma has a long history of trying (and often succeeding) to shut down treatment research that has potential to be effective, when it undercuts their profits. Then add the geopolitical interests of the Communist Party of China and liberal Left in the U.S. to the mix and consider the abject and religious zealot-level hatred of both of those groups for the current president.

I really am confused by many facets of the corona virus phenomenon, but there is a lot more to this story than any of us know, I am 100% convinced of that much.

A "promising" treatment isn't a treatment. And Sars Cov-1 isn't the same disease as Covid 19.

Speaking with MSNBC, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's top infectious disease specialist, called the group "a bunch of people spouting something that isn't true."

Yale Epidemiologist: Hydroxychloroquine Should be Used as Standard COVID-19 Treatment Despite Being Potentially Harmful

Dr. Harvey Risch, an epidemiologist at Yale, disputes that hydroxychloroquine should be "widely available and promoted for prescription by physicians". In an article published by Oxford University Press, aided by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, he explains why it is essential that scientists shouldn't only "stand by" while knowing the drug's efficacy and potential.
Im sorry to tell all you liberal hydroxychloroquine haters out there but this expert is THE expert, sorry but case closed. Go back to bitching about de funding the police or something.

I don't trust Dr. Fauci. Too many contradictions, inconsistencies and conflicts of interest. And if someone trusts MSNBC to be objective, then I can't help them anyway.

A "promising" treatment isn't a treatment. And Sars Cov-1 isn't the same disease as Covid 19.
Read again, didn't say it was the same. I said it was similar. And the point was that even Fauci's own organization had at one point noted that this drug that Fauci and the liberal Left now want to categorically dismiss was considered a promising therapy for a virus that is very similar (emphasis for your benefit there) to the one currently in question. Furthermore, there are literally scores if not hundreds of cases that have been and are being talked about amongst doctors and other healthcare professionals via Linkedin and Facebook, not to mention the actual studies being done, where it was used to treat Covid-19 with favorable overall results. Also often ignored by the media is that it's been in use for more than 60 years in a multitude of patients with a very favorable side-effect profile.

So why is a group of doctors who express their professional opinions, explained and supported with logic and empirical evidence, being censored, shut down, silenced and then in typical liberal Left fashion, character-assassinated?

There is a political agenda being pursued at the cost of truth, and it's unfortunate that people are so determined not to see that. We are not being given objective information by those from whom we should be.

As I lay here at my home, quarantined to my bedroom since testing positive last week. I can tell you not wearing a mask didn't work. This time around I will try that method. Luckily my wife works in the medical field and has been dealing with this stuff a few months now. We began taking some regular over the counter supplement a while back. Did they help? I don't know but they didn't hurt. No telling how bad I woulda had it if I wasn't taking the other stuff. Immediately upon receiving a positive confirmation. I began to prescriptions and pretty quickly began feeling better. Even had an individual reach out and tell me he could get hydroxy. If I wanted it. Since the other 2 scripts seem to be working im holding off. But if things start going south I will be taking it. What can it hurt at that point. I can thank God that I haven't been into to much discomfort. Fever lasted about 4 days. Once it broke. Mentally I started feeling better about it. So far its been like a really bad head cold. As long as I move around the room throughout the day and keep my body loose, i don't have the aches to bad. Oxygen level has been good. But heart rate jumps up pretty quick when just doing small stuff. End up out of energy pretty fast just cleaning the shower while I was in it. So. Mask or no mask. Who really knows. But once I'm able to head back to work and out of my room I will definitely be wearing one. Oh and studies have shown that you can get the virus again. Hydroxy. Yeah I'd give it a shot if it came to it. This has different effects on everyone. But I can tell you if you aint healthy, its gonna be a tough road. And if your a smoker, well just be prepared to be in the hospital with pneumonia.
No the death rate isn't that high. But the lasting effects after dealing with this are the major problems. Once the damage to your lungs is done. That aint coming back, seems its having big issues with kidneys and things like that and even causing some diabetes issues. So don't get all wrapped up in the death rate.

Hope you get well soon dude. How would you compare it to the flu or a standard cold? Did you lose sense of smell? Are you gonna give up on hunting season this year?

So why did Fauci call the group "a bunch of people spouting something that isn't true."
Good question. I hope you figure that out. It comes down to whom you believe, doesn't it? If you're willing to actually listen to them rather than just taking what others say about what they said, then go back and sift through all the things Fauci has said, then you can form an objective opinion for yourself. It's what we should all be doing, but not a lot of people really seem to be.

So compared to the flu, fever and body aches was pretty close. After that its been more like a head cold. The lack of energy is the hardest part to figure out. Yes in the mornings is when I notice the new things. I did lose smell and taste for a day or so but only for the 1st few hours in the mornings. It's really kinda hard to explain this thing. Parts of the last week weren't bad, other parts kinda just sucked. I can see where it can land you in the hospital pretty fast if you wanna be the " tough guy" and not do anything about it. But yet it really depends on how good of shape you are in to begin with. And I believe there are many different strains of it. As for giving up hunting this season, not a chance. Health dept says I can go Monday for my next test. Hopefully I will get a negative test by mid week and I can return to work. Hardest part is mentally staying in my bedroom away from my wife and kids. My kids have understanding why I havent come out and played, help brush teeth, or gave them a hug or kiss goodnight. They pop the door open in the morning to say high then again at night to say bye. My wife will drop off my food, drink and medicine then quickly go and wash hands and sanitize each time. So far we have kept everything contained to just me. But I will be hunting like normal. Probably won't hit up waffle house inside dining or holt diner during hutton season except to go orders.

Dang, I don't know if I could stay in a room that long. Hang in there.
No joke, if we get it again I plan on having my wife will my yeti with food for a week and the camping gear and going on a single person quarantine sabbatical.
My drs and I are near positive I had it in Jan and your correct for a month I was exhausted, it was everything I could do just to get up in the morning but on top of that my immune system had a reaction in my wrist and finger joints that was the most painful thing I’ve ever dealt with in my life. They would slowly start to swell and Over a 2 hour period would double or triple in size and felt like they were slowly breaking and no meds would help. At they time after a flu and strep test every 2 day along with bloodwork every day or two an X-ray and something else and some super strong antibiotics they said it was some sort of viral infection and there was no more they could do.

I’m glad your getting better and pray for a quick recovery

Your symptoms describe how my wife and I felt for a dang month in Nov-Dec. One thing is for sure; we will NEVER know the truth about any of this mess. Hoping you get negative soon and back to reality!
