Attn: Grouper season half way started today for the ones who did not know and for the ones who did don't worry we didn't hurt the population. We fished SW of Orange Beach and never broke the 100' mark and had non stop action all day. Most of what we caught were of course the endangered red snapper ,under sized ajs, and 30 or more 13" triggers. We did manageto geta few in the box and I believe we may have got a few more but there was no live bait to be found, not one ruby, beliner,or white snapper all day. Sorry thats all i have got now the turkeys are calling .

Your day sounds exactly like ours. We ended up with one keeper gag, two legal amberjacks and a ton of red snappers and undersized AJ's. Couldn't catch a ruby or white snapper until we came back into the bridge rubble in the afternoon. Beautiful day on the water though. Really disappointed we couldn't come up with more gags. Thanks for the report and the pics.
