I've had a lot of hawk activity around the house the last couple weeks, it must be breedin season for them. I think they're red tails, but I call most of them hawks, unless they have white hair or a split tail like a tern.

I put this pic on my laptop and jacked it up. I'm pretty sure this is old baldy. Makes sense that he would be feeding on the deer as well.

Thats what it looked like to me as well...cool pic anyway...even buzzards can look cool in certain situations...

Cool pic! Looks like a baldy to me too. I’ve got a red shouldered hawk and a pair of peregrine falcons that frequent one of my spots in DeFuniak. I can’t tell for certain which one this is but I think it’s the hawk. Dang sideways pics...
