I never understood the whole permit thing for concealed carry anyway.
If you have a felony record why would you even bother to apply for a permit since you know up-front they'll be running you in NCIC & you're gonna hit & get denied? So if only "clean" people are applying for & getting permits why bother with permits at all. The bad guys who are gonna carry aren't gonna bother applying for a CC permit anyway.
It's just another big government bureaucratic hassle for law abiding citizens that does absolutely nothing to make us safer. Ok ... rant over.
