I used this:

http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=9345&familyName=Soundown+Composite+Insulation+Vinyl%2FFoam+Sheets

It comes in different weights, I used the 1.5 inch stuff, improvement, but not jaw dropping. My deck lid comes off so I had easy access. You'll need a SHARP long knife to cut it, I used their pins, 5200 to glue the pins to the deck, and a foam glue as well. It's been about a year and only one small part has sagged, I probably didn't apply enough 5200 to that pin and didn't spray enough adhesive there.

Easy job as long as access is easy.

THAT STUFF IS REALLY AFFORDIABLE. YOU SAID IT WASN'T JAW DROPPING AS FAR AS THE DIFFERENCE, BUT COULD YOU HEAR A GOOD NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE?
