aturday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m.

The Lighted Boat Parade will set sail at 6:30 p.m. from Sabine Marina and make its way around the Santa Rosa Sound to the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk where it will dock by about 7:30 pm.

Leading up to the boat launch, a kid’s party will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. at Shaggy’s Pensacola Beach.

Directly following the boat parade, Santa will make his way to the Quietwater Shell to greet the children.

Spectators can watch the parade from Little Sabine or the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk and any of the businesses along the route.

Boats of all sizes, shapes, and colors are invited to enter the parade and compete in the boat decorating contest!

The deadline to register will be Monday, Nov. 28, at 5 p.m. The entry fee is $35 per boat. Compete for "most merry" and "best of show" awards!

Line Up: 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3 at Sabine Marina

Parade Start: 6:30 p.m. will loop around Little Sabine and end at Quietwater/Soundside.

For larger boats that prefer not to loop through Little Sabine, you will follow behind the parade lineup once they reach the Bob Sikes Bridge, at approximately 7:15 pm. More info is to be given at Captain's Meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 6 p.m. at the Sandshaker Lounge.

Be fun, but daughter is in Milton parade same evening!
I went up there in 2008 with my Houseboat by request of the Chamber to join in. Pensacola did not have one then.
It was a fun parade to participate in.
We spent the night at the boardwalk, and eased back the next day.
The after parade festivities were fun, and then falling out on the boat for the night was a relaxing night.
