Choctawhatchee mullet holes are picking up and so is the crowd. Boats moving around looking for a decent spot with less competition. Buddy and I found a decent bite this morning and put 40 in the box in about 3 1/2 hours. All caught on a #6 gold hook. Snatching is mostly a thing of the past for this guy, but I do take a snatch rod just in case
Much easier, less effort, and certainly a much cleaner boat when you quit. Also,it's a heck of a lot of fun on a crappie rod with light line. You have to wear them out before they will come to the boat.
Also, The quality has certainly improved over a few weeks ago.
