Chatterbait for redfish?

I have caught redfish on chatterbaits, even caught a flounder on a modified version of one once. Based on posts on this forum about using them in stained water and around grass, I have tried them and found in certain circumstances they catch fish. I've done best on variations of green but my experience with them for reds is still limited. I've used them bass fishing with good success but that was back in North Carolina in reservoir settings where there were a lot of shad.

I use them here during cooler months. White chatterbait with a white 5” swimbait. No need to mess with other colors. Redfish crush these things. Gotta have submerged grass around though. Without it, a shallow crankbait like a 1XS catches them better.
Does that color choice change depending on water clarity at all, Jeff?
