hey guys im looking for the closet campground to pcola where i can throw up my tent have my truck at the camp site and have my boat not to far away<where it is in view> and use my gas motor.i know bear , hurricane and stone lake prohibits the use of gas motors.any ideas?

no prob man. if you get there early enough theres a couple spots where you can camp about 10 ft from the water and have your truck right there with you. game wardens come by pretty often also so i dont mind leaving my stuff there while i go out.

yea its pretty nice. becks lake is good too but its like 15 bucks to camp and you cant park your truck right by the campsite. just to launch though its a great place and its only 5 bucks. good fishing around there in the backwaters.

I love big lagoon for camping and ramp access. They rent out kayaks also

There are also several boat ramps with camp sites that are real nice across the river in Santa Rosa county, Webb landing,Kaiser landing just don't take a big boat.:thumbsup:
