Hey guys i posted this in the general section already but I wanted to share with my fellow kayakers. I've recently started using this uni knot variation I came up with instead of the double uni because it's a lot smaller and easier to tie. So far it seems just as strong too. Been catching a lot of fish inshore lately and it hasn't failed yet. If anyone tries it out let me know how it holds up for you! Really curious to know how it holds against some bull reds and other big fish so get after em fellas!

ill give it a shot on the long rods for sharks. I hate uni to uni. I have to do a Uni to overhand for shock leaders but for braid to mono i always use an Alberto knot.
