is there really a big difference between stabilizers. i bought a reezen 6.5 a few months back and have been shooting a 1800 stabilizer that is about 6 inches long and all metal. will a newer one feel any different or make the bow shoot any better? i think the bow feels good now but who knows, could it be better?

Yes. They damping the vibration and if it is heavy enough will stablizer the bow. The B Stinger is probably the best at stabilizatoin as far as hunting goes. Look into Posten stabs. Google Jim Posten, they are bad ass and worth the money.

X2 on the Posten, I got one on my Switchback XT and it is great. You can add or remove weights on it also. Plus they just look cool too
