Pensacola Sail and Power Squadron will teach the 8-hour America's Boating Course Saturday, 13 March, 8am to 5 pm, PJC Warrington Campus, Building 3400, room 3410, 5555 Highway 98, (across from Navy Exchange and Navy Hospital). This course meets the requirements for the Florida Boating Safety Education Card. Per Florida law, anyone born on/after 01 Jan, 1988 must have the card in their possession when operating a boat with greater than 10 hp in Florida waters. This course also satisfies the training requirement for the Alabama license.
The course is free, although we recommend students purchase the text with accompanying navigation training CDs ($40). To register, contact Mark Wenzel, 850-452-9700 x3119 or 850-492-9382.
