Where in the P'cola are would be a good place to get a boat survey if I'm buying a used boat? Do you setup an appointment or take the guy with you or what? How does it work? How much does it generally cost? Can anyone on here do this?

It would be for a smaller bay boat...not one in particular in mind just yet...just getting my ducks in a row.

Thanks in advance.

Merry Christmass to everyone!!

Hey Wharfrat, Check my signature, thats part of my business. Give me a shout, and I can fill you in on some more details. Whether you use me or not, use a SAMS or NAMS surveyor. There's a few guys running around claiming to be surveyors/ marine appraisers, and their report isnt worth the paper it's written on!! There's not a bank or insurance company that won't accept my report!
