Blue Water Trolling for me is both incredibly boring & unbelievably exciting... Itend to agreeit's like watching paint dry on the house & then the house catches on fire...

My dad and i are just geting into bluewater trolling and aren't very experienced, but on our first tripwe invited some friends and landed 4 16-18lb blackfin. We had a great time and we are aiming for some dolphin and wahoo though!

Sparky, you'll get those 'hoos and dolphins this season and if not you know a good place to get advice

I like jigging. Instead of fishing the top 10' or the bottom 3', you fish the whole water column. The strikes are second to none and you as the angler are in control of your destiny. I have rigged 10 ga-zillion ballyhoo and trolled over more mud, rocks, humps, bumps and rips than I care to remember, but nothing beats a jig bite.
