After not catching squat the past couple days, I finally managed to get a couple decent fish. Met up with Doc/Farmer Monday afternoon and fished with fresh dead shrimp on bottom. Released 2 dink sheepies to grow up and be worth points in KW next time. Also got 2 black drum, 17inches and 18.5inches. I donated the drum to Doc so he wouldn't get into trouble with his wife, for fishing and not bringing dinner home. My freezer's already full of sheepies anyway.



Doc got hold of a small red, black drum, and sheepie. Not much size but the 1st sheep from the yak is always the hardest.

Way to go Alex, glad to see you finally got into some decent fish. I'm going to start hitting it hard next week or two, got some make up points to get rolling.

Thata boy Alex!!!! I did some recon yesterday and found some thangs in the water that should hold some fish in about a month. Keep bangin on em'.:clap

I appreciate the fish. My son andI had fish tacos this evening. Yummie. BTW, myDad used to fish a lot but then started "fishing from the parking lot." He lived for years on a house boat on Bon Secour River. At the end of the day he'd go up to the Galley for a cold one and there was always someone wanting to unload fish. Dad preferred cleaned fish!

Ah man, no good! I did the same thing a few weeks ago with a 14inch black drum, thinking it had to 15inches to count on Kayak Wars.
