I know there are a lot of folks in P'cola that have the same rig as mine.

I have had mine since 2006 when I purchased it new. I recently had a

mishap over the weekend, and broke part of the cavitation plate on the

port side, and the prop needs to be reworked. I brought it to the local

prop shop & he just needs to finda used lower unit & he can cut it out

& reweld.

Now here is where something came up when he asked me about my prop.

My Dealer used a michigan stainless 19 inch 14 1/8. I may be off on the

1/8. Anyway I have never had any issues until the prop shop asked me

what my WOT rpms were. When I told him 5100 he told me that I should

be around 6000. Now I have researched all of this, andI understand its

better for the engine/etc. My only question is, those of you have this rig

can you tell me the size prop/brand & what your WOT rpm's are? Thanks

p.s. I have a strong feeling if I went with a 19inch 13 3/4 yamaha ss, painted

or not I would get different results.

on that rig, you need a 13 3/4 by 19 or a 14 1/4 17, this will give you a optimum setup,, yamaha makes a Reliance prop just for the F150. a bit pricey but worth it..
