sorry ,i was talking about the connectors for my chartplotter and fishfinder, the brass pins that corode.

Corrosion X in the red can. It cleans and protects. Great stuff. Academy carries it.

Electrical spray cleaner from Radio Shack and a long bristle acid brush. Then apply dielectric grease to the pins. This should be available at Radio Shack too. If Not Advance Auto parts should have both.
