Should be, take a look at Sunjammers.com fish finder install kits and look at the batteries. I used the bigger 12v package it came with a plug in charger which makes it nice because it would be a bitch to get out if installed correctly. I am sure a bunch of us could up load pics of our set ups to give you some ideas.

I wouldn't worry about a fish finder eating up a battery. I run 8 aa batteries in series and should last 60 hours based on the battery rating and draw of a fish finder.

Thanks sealark.. I just checked the price before shipping and wow... half of what I was looking at.. now to look at the final with shipping.


Edit: Just got done checking out.. definitly better than what I was looking at. Thank you sealark!

Dog, dont forget to get a charger a regular car charger will NOT work it charges too fast and could ruin the battery. The proper chargers are cheap at the same place.
