Weather forecast showed it would be windy and cold for Saturday morning. That being said we gave it a shot anyway. Got to the beach and water was very murky and not really any wind. Set up for only 30 minutes or so when reeled in the first hit. Just legal pompano at 11" to the fork. Then my wife fell asleep and I got another hit. I took someone's advice from the forum and didn't wake her lol. It might have been another 6 1/2 pound pompano. Not quite but some nice size pompanos back to back. Had all the fun by myself. Three in the ice chest by 10:30 then nothing for 4 hours. One other hit all day and it was a lady fish. Early afternoon wind went from about 5 mph to 15 mph in just a few minutes. Before we could get all packed up the sand started blowing bad. Thanks JC for a good day.
