I have had an Ithaca/SKB XL300 for some time now. It is a semi auto 12ga. with a 28" barrel. I can not find any info on this gun other than they were produced only from '72-'76. Can anyone dig up any info??Value? thanks, jared

Ithaca only marketed the model you have and the model 900. They were out of Illinois originally but are now made in Japan. they are suppose to be very dependable and good bird guns. There is a guy in Ontario Canada That deals in parts for these two models and maybe more( Mod XL300 & XL900) his number is 1-905-774-6368. he could probaly tell you first hand what you need. You can also try this web site http://www.skbshotguns.com

I have an Ithaca SKB 900 (recoil-operated)and a 900XL (gasoperated) in 20 GA. Love them both - they're great guns. I bought the 900 (Unfired) for about $900 but if yours is in good condition you can probably get $400 or more for it.

Also - I have an Ithaca Gunsmithing Manual from 1970-72 that has all the info you would ever need for your gun - if you ever need to look at it - let me know. Here's some thumbnail pix of the recoil-operated one.
